Die Alps Tour feiert vom 13. bis 15. August 2020 mit der 28. Auflage der Gösser Open im Golfclub Erzherzog Johann in Maria Lankowitz ihr Comeback. 2016 gewann ein gewisser Matt Wallace in der Weststeiermark – hören Sie hier was die aktuelle Nummer 41 der Welt über die Gösser Open denkt. "Good luck to everybody playing at the #gosseropen 🇦🇹, one of my favourite tournament that I’ve played on the #alpstour . A lot of my friends and I – the likes of Steven Brown , Tom Shadbolt, the great and late Ricki Neil-Jones, Jason Palmer, Andrew Cooley, Tom Sherreard – legends of the Alps Tour – we used to call it “The 5th Major”. It’s not many tournaments that are sponsored by a beer🍺, so we always had a good fun time down there! I was very fortunate to win it 🥇in 2016, probably my best win on the Alps Tour. I’ve played brilliant 3 days. So great tournament, great course – I remember the greens being fantastic – so hope everyone enjoys it, play well, and hopefully see you soon on the European Tour!"
